Keep Oakland Beautiful (KOB) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works with the City of Oakland and other community groups towards creating a more beautiful, clean, green, and litter-free Oakland. Joining the Board is a perfect opportunity to get involved, take action in your own city, and make a great impact.
The Keep Oakland Beautiful Board of Directors is 100% volunteer-led. We are seeking new members with fresh ideas for keeping Oakland beautiful. Our Board Members manage and support beautification events, annual programs, and community initiatives. No prior board experience is required; the most important thing is your love and commitment for our Town. Meet our current Board Members.
Through Board membership, you will earn valuable community organization and nonprofit administration experience, as well as build lasting connections with fellow Oakland residents and City staff.
