I Love Oakland. To help my community become more beautiful, I pledge to:
- Recycle every day. I will recycle my own plastic, paper, metal, and glass.
- Compost every day. I will compost my own food and yard waste.
- Reduce litter every day. I will keep my community clean and not litter.
- Bulky Pickup annually. I will utilize my FREE bulky junk pickup to properly dispose of my apartment or house waste.

LOVEOAK DAY
Get ready for Oakland's most beautiful Valentines Day event of 2026! Saturday, February 14th, we'll be cutting cake and giving out free merch for the official launch of Keep Oakland Beautiful's LOVEOAK beautification projects.
LOVEOAK will culminate with The City of Oakland's Earth Day Adopt A Spot events. Follow us on socials at @keepoaklandbeautiful for the time and location of this sweet celebration!

Oakland Adopt-A-Spot, California Climate Action Corps, Oakland Parks, Recreation, and Youth Development, Oakland Public Works, Oakland Parks and Rec Foundation, collaborated to PLANT, PAINT AND PICKUP WITH PUPS at Union Point Park along the Oakland Estuary Shoreline.
With a surprise visit from Oakland Mayor Barbara Lee, ours was one of 50 sites held across the city to LOVEOAK.
